QuickTab - Smart Tab Manager

1. Overview

QuickTab ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension designed to help you search, organize, and manage your browser tabs efficiently. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Data Collection

QuickTab does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

Specifically, we do NOT collect:

Browsing history or URLs
Personal information (name, email, etc.)
Tab content or page data
Analytics or usage data
Cookies or tracking identifiers

3. Data Storage

All data used by QuickTab (such as saved tab sessions) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data:

Never leaves your device
Is never transmitted to any server
Is only accessible to the extension itself
Can be cleared by uninstalling the extension

4. Permissions

QuickTab requests the following Chrome permissions:

tabs — Required to list, search, and manage your open browser tabs
storage — Required to save your tab sessions locally on your device

These permissions are used solely for the extension's core functionality and nothing else.

5. Third-Party Services

QuickTab does not use any third-party services, APIs, analytics, or tracking tools.

6. Network Requests

QuickTab makes no network requests of any kind. The extension operates entirely offline and locally within your browser.

The only exception is loading website favicons, which are fetched by Chrome itself as part of normal browser operation.

7. Children's Privacy

QuickTab does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
