PalettePick ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps designers and developers pick colors from any webpage and organize them into reusable palettes. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
PalettePick does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal data.
Specifically, we do NOT collect:
All data used by PalettePick — your picked colors, recent history, and saved palettes — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data:
PalettePick uses the browser's native EyeDropper API (window.EyeDropper), which is built into Chrome. When you click "Pick a color":
PalettePick requests only the following permission:
No other permissions are requested. The extension does not need activeTab, tabs, host_permissions, or any network access.
PalettePick does not use any third-party services, APIs, analytics, or tracking tools.
PalettePick makes no network requests of any kind. The extension operates entirely offline.
PalettePick does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
